  1. Olivia,
Do you know why you get pinched if you don’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day? I try to remember to wear green, but sometimes I forget, and then the pinching begins!

  2. Olivia,
Why is Saint Patrick the patron saint of Ireland? And why do you see shamrocks on St. Patrick’s day?

  3. Olivia,

Even though St. Patrick’s Day might have started in Ireland it is a very popular holiday in the USA. I believe the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade is in New York and in Chicago they dye the river green for St. Patrick’s Day.

If you click on my name below (if I did my link right) you will see a couple Chicagoans celebrating St. Patrick’s Day about 8 years ago.

  6. Olivia,
I love St. Patrick’s Day, are there other Irish holidays that we might not know about in the United States?
