Did you know that Berlin is Germany’s capital and largest city in Germany? I did.

  1. -WOW- That’s Fantastic!

I wish I could go see Germany some day.
I hear that the “bergs” are exceptionally beautiful over there…

… but not quite as beautiful as the Bergs over here.

    German translation: berg = mountain
    English translation: Berg = Carolyn

  2. It is so cool about your name translation! I learned something today!

Miss O’Neill teaches in Berlin. Did you remember that? Last week she went to her first German Basketball Game. The team is called the Alba Berlin. The Berlin team played RheinEnergie Köln from Cologne. Here are some things she observed at the game:

    1. The ball has white stripes on it.
    2. Lots of the players are guys from the United States.
    3. The Germans really get behind their team and cheer alot.

Otherwise, it was pretty much the same as basketball here in the states!
