Do they clean the Blarney Stone between kisses?
Meghan – maybe someday we can go to Ireland together. Has anyone in your class ever been to Ireland? Your great-grandfather (my grandpa and my dad’s father) came to the United States from Ireland. He emigrated to American from Ireland – maybe you can look that word up. He was from just outside of Dublin. Can you find Dublin on a map? Is there anything special about Ireland. Does anyone in your class have a parent who grew up in Ireland? Maybe they can come talk to your class about Ireland someday. I LOVE this project . I am so glad you are studying about the different countries in the world. Love mom
Oops – I meant to say is there anything special about Dublin. Love mom
Dear Meghan, when they kiss the stone does it always give them goodluck?
Meghan – Oops – I am just learning how to use a blog. Comments number 2 and 3 are from me (mom) but I forgot to put my name in the space so it had your name there. Thank you for teaching me something new. Love mom
Meghan – nice job on your report! How big is the Blarney Castle? Do you know when it was built? It looks really old.
How did the Blarney Stone become so special?
